The White Coat Ceremony for the Medical University of Gdańsk’s Class of 2028, held on November 14th, 2025, was a truly memorable occasion. Now in its third year, the ceremony once again brought together students from both the English and Polish divisions—highlighting the shared purpose and cooperation that define the beginning of their clinical training.
This celebration came to life through the dedication of many individuals. With the enthusiastic direction of AMSA President Garett Howey and Founder Alejandra Vivas, and the hard work of our organizing team — Aarya Kudtarkar, Abdullah Shuab, Agata Ponikowska, Aleksandra Oppman-Ward, Azzam Sanib, Daniella Ibikunle, Fabian Pietraniuk, Ibrahim Khalil, Janvi Chandalia, Livf Towfiqi, Marta Ogrodzińska, Michał Gościniak, Oliwia Wojdyło, Ritu Chhabria, Vyom Dixit, and Zuzanna Kuśmierz — as well as the meaningful support of Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Aleksandra Gaworska-Krzemińska, Dean Prof. Dr. hab. Maria Bieniaszewska, Vice Dean Dr. hab. Tomasz Marjański, and Chancellor Prof. Dr. hab. Jacek Bigda, the event became a heartfelt and uplifting tribute to our future physicians.
We are sincerely grateful to our sponsors — AMBOSS, Medhoodie, Vena, Hilton, IRO, LEPoLEK, Kangoomed, Więcej niż LEK, Biblioteka Główna GUMED, and Medycyna Praktyczna — whose generosity added so much to the celebration. The beautiful floral arrangements from Kwiaciarnia nr 9 and the exceptional catering by Restauracja Kreska further enriched the atmosphere. Our warmest thanks also go to the families who joined us; your encouragement and support give this milestone its deeper meaning.
As we look back on the ceremony, we celebrate the commitment, enthusiasm, and promise shown by our students. May this moment mark the beginning of an inspiring and fulfilling chapter in their medical careers.
